Sapphire පවුලෙහි මැණික් වලට,
Blue Sapphire – නිල් මැණික්
Ruby – රතු මැණික්
Pink Sapphire – රෝස කියා පැවසිය යුතු වුවද ලංකාවේ පොදු භාවිතයේ රෝස පැහැති sapphire වලට රතු කියා පවසයි.
Yellow Sapphire – පුෂ්පරාග
Padparadscha – පද්මරාග
White Sapphire – සුදු නිල්

Cats eye – වෛරෝඩි
Star Ruby – රතු ආරුනූල්

Moonstone – සිංහලෙන් චන්ද්‍රකාන්ති හා දෙමළෙන් පූනක්කම් යන වචන දෙකම වෙළඳපොලේ දී භාවිතාවේ.
